Ruach Camps (Grades 1 & 2)

Ruach camp offers a perfect transition from Shemesh Camp. The camp will have weekly themes, which will allow your child the opportunity to explore their imagination and be part of a weekly adventure. These themes will be incorporated throughout the day, with regular camp activities including, swimming, crafts, sports, and inflatables.

Week 1
June 29 - July 3*
Science / Art Fusion

This fan-favorite camp is back with all-new experiments! Campers will get hands-on in the Rady JCC lab with slimy, gooey, and edible science fun, then unleash their creativity in the art studio exploring colour and expression. A perfect mix of science and art that promises big smiles and even bigger excitement.

The Messy Apron (NEW)

Over the course of the week, kids will build their kitchen skills, learn about diverse cultures, and explore the science that makes cooking so exciting. From international flavors on “Around the World Monday” to sweet and savory delights on “Baking Bonanza Wednesday” and experiments on “Food Science Friday,” every day is packed with flavor and fun!

Rady Goes to the Movies

Campers step into the spotlight as they create their own movie-themed commercials and mini skits. From brainstorming ideas to filming and starring in their productions, everyone has a chance to shine. Campers explore with creativity, teamwork, and confidence while bringing their ideas to life on camera. Lights, camera, action—Ruach campers are true stars!
Week 4
July 20 - 24
Secret Agent Camp (NEW)
General Price: $285 | Register
Your mission, should you choose to accept it … is to have an incredible, fun-filled week. Campers will become secret agents in training as they decode messages, solve mysteries, and complete top-secret spy missions. With disguises, puzzles, and teamwork, this camp is packed with adventure and excitement from start to finish.
How does pick-up and drop-off work?
Children should be dropped off for camp beginning at 8:15 a.m. at the 123 Doncaster St. entrance of the Rady JCC. Campers must be picked up by 4:30 p.m.
Are there any food restrictions?
Rady JCC Summer Camps are nut free. Please refrain from sending those in your child’s lunch or snacks. With respect to cooking / baking camps, we cannot guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination or traces of other food-based insensitivities. Who are the Rady JCC Staff?
All Rady JCC Summer Day Camp staff are chosen for their experience, ability to relate to children and leadership skills. Staff receive training which includes program development, CPR & First Aid Certification, water safety, and inclusion training. All staff are screened through the Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Records Search to ensure the safety of all campers.

Young Einsteins (NEW)

Back by popular demand, this camp is packed with all new experiments for your young scientists. Campers will be in the Rady JCC laboratory creating gooey, slimy, and in some cases, edible! Scientists will need to bring their creativity to solve our daily challenges. Young Einsteins has the formula for fun!

Junior Baking Challenge (NEW)

Welcome to the kitchen, junior chefs! Campers will explore the joy of baking as they create delicious treats and learn simple techniques in a fun and supportive environment. With lots of mixing, decorating, and tasting, this camp is sure to be a recipe for smiles.

Superheroes vs Supervillains (NEW)

Choose your side! Campers will invent their own superhero or supervillain and join a super team on a mission to save the world—or rule it. Every day is packed with action, imagination, and fun as campers act out exciting adventures worthy of the big screen.

A Taste of Camp Ruach

This camp is designed for those campers who can’t decide on just one camp and want a little ‘taste’ of everything the Rady JCC Day Camps have to offer. Each day, a different theme will be explored, giving campers the opportunity to try some of their favorite activities and instructors this summer at the Rady. With a combination of science, art, cooking, aquatics, and athletics, this camp has something for every child.
