Member Services Representative (MSR) – Part-Time
The Rady JCC is seeking an outgoing and customer-focused part-time Member Services Representative (MSR) to join our team. The MSR acts as the public face of the Rady JCC. They are the first person seen by Rady Members entering the facility and the last person seen when members leave.
The part-time MSR works the membership and sports desks serving Rady Members, guests, and program participants ensuring exceptional customer service in a welcoming, friendly, and efficient manner. The MSR will also deliver exceptional internal customer service to Rady JCC staff in other departments.
General Duties and Responsibilities Overview
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and serving Rady Members, guests, and program participants in a welcoming, friendly, and efficient manner
- Learning simple database processes required to serve membership needs
- Listening to the customers’ needs to better understand their requests
- Answering phone calls in a courteous and pleasant manner
- Following up with customer requests, questions, and concerns by finding out the correct information or forwarding to a supervisor or the Membership Manager

Fitness Professional
The Rady JCC is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join its team as a Fitness Professional.
There are three primary components to this role:
- Fitness Staff – In this role you will you monitor the fitness center and spend time engaging with members. Tasks include new member orientations, tours, and various duties around the facility.
- Personal Trainer – In this role you will engage in one-on-one training sessions with clients. Trainers are responsible for managing their appointment bookings and designing safe and effective workouts for their clients. Trainers may also engage in partner and small group training sessions.
- Fitness Instructor – Fitness classes include a variety of strength and cardio based classes such as TRX, circuit, and bootcamp style classes delivered in a group setting. Further opportunity in group fitness may be explored, depending on the candidates experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Professional, friendly, and organized with experience in a customer service role
- Completion of/working towards an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in designing appropriate exercise programs for a variety of populations including athletes, youth, those living with chronic illness and general population
- Ability to prescribe corrective exercises to improve posture and movement
