The Rady JCC Pool Will Be Closed from
March 18 - 29
The Rady pool is one of the busiest spots in our facility. There are over a dozen aquatics programs happening in the pool each week, and that’s not including all the swimming lessons happening each day. With all that activity, it’s important to keep the pool running its best.
This closure will allow for our team to perform necessary annual maintenance and keep the pool operating at the quality that our members and guests deserve.
All swimming lessons and aquatics programs will be cancelled during this period.
For those that choose aquatics as their main exercise, we’ve designed several new programs that you can try during the closure. Check them out below - you might find a new favourite class!
Gym Orientation and Machine Assistance
Thursday, March 19 and Wednesday, March 25
9:00 - 9:45 a.m.
Instructor: Kevin Saunders
Learn about the many exercise options on the Rady Fitness Floor with trainer Kevin Saunders. From free weights, to TRX to Matrix bikes and treadmills, you’re sure to find something new and enjoyable to add to your exercise routine.

Chair Yoga
Tuesday, March 24 and / or Thursday March 26
2:00 - 2:55 p.m.
Instructor: Larry Isacoff
Here’s a chance to try one of our most popular adaptive yoga classes. Instructor Larry Isacoff will lead two sessions of Kaiut Chair Yoga. Learn poses and stretches with the added support of a chair to increase your flexibility and mobility. The best part? These premium sessions are being offered free of charge.

Drop-in Group Sessions
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Come up to the fitness floor for your own cardiovascular workout at 10:30, then join a fitness staff for chair-based exercises at 11:00 in the small gym.
