This Summer, get ready to relive the moment that united a nation.
On Thursday, June 4, the Rady JCC proudly presents the 52nd Annual Rady JCC Ken Kronson Sports Dinner and this year, we are bringing one of the most unforgettable moments in Canadian sports back to life.
For the first time ever in Winnipeg, Toronto Blue Jays legends and two-time World Series Champions Joe Carter and Cito Gaston will take the stage together, joined by award winning broadcaster Rod Black, to share the story behind the swing that united a country and defined a generation of fans.
Full event details, including 2026 Sports Dinner Honourees, tickets, and sponsorship opportunities, will be released in early February.
An Unmatched Night in Winnipeg
The Rady JCC Ken Kronson Sports Dinner is the largest sports fundraising event of its kind in Western Canada, bringing together community leaders, athletes, fans, and supporters for an unforgettable night in support of the Rady JCC and its programs.
This event is a collective moment shared by everyone in the room that creates memories that last a lifetime.
As the Rady JCC’s flagship fundraiser, the Sports Dinner delivers an experience unlike anything else in Winnipeg.
A beautifully curated multi-course meal. A packed ballroom filled with energy, connection, and shared nostalgia. A night where business leaders host clients, friends gather around the table, and memories are made in real time.
Guests enjoy massive rainbow and silent auctions, along with a live auction featuring one of a kind prizes, iconic sports memorabilia, and exclusive trips you cannot find anywhere else.
Every detail is designed to create a night that feels special from the moment you walk in until the final bid is called.
There is simply nothing else like it.
Why We Do It. Why It Matters.
Every single dollar raised at the Rady JCC Ken Kronson Sports Dinner directly supports the Rady JCC, a not-for-profit community organization serving thousands of people each year.
The Rady JCC is non-religious, non-denominational, and open to everyone. Anyone can have a Rady experience.
Through our programs and camps, we help children stay active, build confidence, and develop leadership skills. We proudly provide inclusive programming for children with disabilities, as well as wellness programs that support individuals living with chronic illness or recovering from cancer.
This dinner fuels the programs that strengthen our community today and for generations to come.
When you attend the Sports Dinner, you are not only reliving one of the most iconic moments in Canadian sports history. You are helping make meaningful impact right here in our community.
