Part-Time Child Care Assistant

Position Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Full-day shifts required on all in-service and professional development (PD) days
- Start Date: April 1, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of engaging indoor and outdoor activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and positive social interaction
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators to provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Assist in implementing positive behaviour guidance strategies
Qualifications & Requirements
- Clear and current Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check (completed within the last three months)
- Current Emergency First Aid and CPR-C certification
- Positive, cooperative attitude and strong teamwork skills
- A nurturing approach and commitment to positive behaviour techniques

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
The Rady Jewish Community Centre (RJCC) is currently seeking a self-motivated and Registered Massage Therapist who wants to grow their practice in a welcoming community.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be registered and a member in good standing with the MTAM
- Massage Therapy Diploma
- Experience working with different clients (ages, conditions)
- Specialize in different types of massage modalities (i.e. Swedish, deep-tissue, sports etc.)
- Experience in maintaining accurate client records
- Have liability insurance

Fitness Professional
The Rady Jewish Community Centre (RJCC) is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join its team as a Fitness Professional.
There are three primary components to this role:
- Fitness Staff – In this role you will you monitor the fitness center and spend time engaging with members. Tasks include new member orientations, tours, and various duties around the facility.
- Personal Trainer – In this role you will engage in one-on-one training sessions with clients. Trainers are responsible for managing their appointment bookings and designing safe and effective workouts for their clients. Trainers may also engage in partner and small group training sessions.
- Fitness Instructor – Fitness classes include a variety of strength and cardio based classes such as TRX, circuit, and bootcamp style classes delivered in a group setting. Further opportunity in group fitness may be explored, depending on the candidates experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Professional, friendly, and organized with experience in a customer service role
- Completion of/working towards an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in designing appropriate exercise programs for a variety of populations including athletes, youth, those living with chronic illness and general population
- Ability to prescribe corrective exercises to improve posture and movement
