This presentation draws on historical scholarship that examines the aftermath of World War II and the Holocaust, the international and local aspects of that war and the resulting refugee issues, both Arab and Jewish, that were its aftereffects, and the meanings of famous words such as ‘racism,’ ‘antisemitism’ and ‘Islamism’ in that historical context.
