Subsidies & Scholarships
It is our hope that the Rady JCC is accessible and open to all. As part of our mandate, we provide scholarships and camperships to families and individuals to assist those who are experiencing financial hardships to participate in our programs, camps and be a part of our membership.

Membership Policies
Loss of Membership
The Rady JCC is proud to be a harassment-free environment for its members, program participants and staff.
Rady JCC is committed to providing the best quality service and respectful environment. As a valued member, you can expect courteous and respected service. Likewise, we appreciate your kind cooperation in treating our employees with respect. Any verbal abuse, including insults or threats could result in refusal of services.
Rady JCC reserves the right to cancel a membership without refund for any reason including, but not limited, the following:
- Damage or destruction of Rady JCC property
- Theft;
- Failure to follow proper safety precautions and practice;
- Inappropriate behavior;
- Fighting;
- Physical or verbal abuse, or use of profanity;
- Failure to pay membership fees;
- Failure to follow policies set by the Rady JCC.
You must apply for the membership category that is appropriate for your age and marital status. Membership is subject to revocation without refund if you do not qualify for the membership category for which you have applied.

Freeze on Your Membership
If you plan to be away for an extended period, you can freeze your membership up to three times per year for a maximum of 90 days for a non-refundable nominal fee per month. The interval can be either 30, 60 or 90 days within the 12-month membership period.
Please note that all individuals within your membership unit will be included in the freeze. You will be required to complete a form and turn in your membership card(s). Requests may be made at the Reception Desk.
Medical Hold
If you plan to be away for an extended period due to medical reasons, you can put your membership on medical hold without charge. A doctor’s certificate is necessary on commencement of the hold. Please note that all individuals within the membership unit will be included in the hold. Written notification from the member’s physician is required to reactivate membership.

Guest Passes
Guest passes can be purchased at the Reception or Sports Desks. Guest passes for Saturdays must be purchased in advance. Prospective members may buy a maximum of three guest passes with the understanding that the fee will be applied to their membership if all three passes are purchased within 30 days and receipts are provided.
Each guest is limited to three visits in the Centre’s fiscal year, which runs from September to the following August.
All guests 16 years and older must provide photo ID when accessing the Centre with a guest pass. No guest will be permitted access without photo ID.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Guest accompanied by Rady JCC Member
Adult members, who do not have family memberships, may bring their own child(ren) up to 12 visits per year for the respective guest pass fee.
Members may bring a maximum of two guests or one family unit per visit.

Guest NOT accompanied by Rady JCC Member
From September to May, all drop-in guests not accompanied by a member may only use the Rady JCC facilities outside of peak hours.
Peak hours are:
Monday to Thursday – 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Saturdays – all day
Sundays – 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Statutory Holidays – all day

Special Guest Privileges for Family and Single Parent Family Memberships
Children/Youth (5 to 13 years of age) may bring one guest (5 to 13 years of age) free of charge on Saturdays 1:00-6:00 p.m. all year around, and Sundays 4:00-7:00 p.m. ‚ November to April. (All guests must be accompanied by a Rady JCC member-in-good-standing and must be signed in by the member’s parent. All facility rules and regulations apply.) These free visits do not count towards the maximum number of three visits in one year.
