Tickets: $14

Step back into the legendary world of the Borscht Belt with another must-see film from our Winnipeg International Jewish Film Festival earlier this year.

For generations, Grossinger’s Resort in New York’s Catskills was a place where Jewish families could escape, relax and find community in a world where antisemitism and discrimination were all too familiar.

This acclaimed documentary resurrects that vanished world with warmth, humour and incredible archival footage while exploring the extraordinary influence Jewish culture had on American life

A fascinating story. A remarkable piece of Jewish history. A film that stays with you.
