With recent  developments in the Middle East, we are following best practices and recommendations from our advisory partners to increase our security presence at the Rady JCC  for a brief period of heightened awareness. 

At this time, there is no information indicating any specific or credible threat to the Jewish community in Canada. However, as a precaution, we will increase our security measures effective immediately. Winnipeg Police Service will also be present onsite tomorrow as we gather together for our community Purim festival. 

Please be assured that these measures are proactive, rather than reactive, and done out of an abundance of caution. 

While we do not anticipate any issues in the coming days. Rest assured that we are staying in touch with all appropriate authorities, and will update our community as necessary..
