For a game that dates back to 19th century China, mahjong has gotten around. Worldwide, players come together, choose their tiles and play their hands in an effort to score the most points.
More importantly, mahjong is also an opportunity for people to gather, exercise their brains, and have a great time. Weekly mahjong sessions are an institution at the Rady JCC, and one of our longest-running social activities.

This beginner-friendly class is perfect for anyone who is new to Mahjong.
You will learn the basics of American Mahjong in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
No previous experience is required.
