Parent & Baby Classes

 

All About Mom: Post Natal Strength & Stretch
Wednesdays, July 8 - August 26 | 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Step back into physical activity. 

Master trainer Lindsey Gudbjartson is offering her customized fitness class for new moms looking to get back into the gym. Let her guide you through resistance training for the 4th Trimester Recovery. Cardio and strength exercises geared towards recovery and rebalance aimed to help mom transition back into physical activity. 

And best of all? She wants you to bring your baby along.

This class is not like other parent and baby classes. Babies enjoy a dedicated play space in the room while moms get a great workout, adapted to their particular, post-natal needs. Register Now

Fit Together: Prenatal AquaFit

Benefit from the healing properties of water and enjoy a challenging and refreshing workout with our Prenatal Aquafit class. Benefits include increased energy levels, reduced swelling and improved circulation, improved core strength, reduced lower back pain, and the fun of exercising with other pregnant women.

Each Prenatal Aquafit class includes cardio, strength, core and stretching, all in a low impact pool setting. 

All fitness levels and trimesters are welcome. This class is wonderful for everyone, and will be of special interest for women with pelvic floor discomfort, low back pain, pubis symphysis dysfunction (SPD), pelvic/hip pain and joint injuries. 

All instructors are certified pre/post natal fitness specialists.

What is Kyokushin karate?  To some, it is a way to develop and maintain physical strength and learn effective self-defence techniques.  To others, it is much more than that.  Kyokushin karate is a way of life that transcends the physical aspects of training.
