A New Chapter in Community Care Begins

The Rady JCC is proud to announce the Faye Vickar Lazer Early Learning Centre, a new licensed Early Learning and Child Care Centre being developed in partnership with the Saul & Claribel Simkin Centre.

Located on the Simkin Centre campus in south Winnipeg, the new centre will become the third Early Learning Centre operated by the Rady JCC, creating 152 new childcare spaces for Winnipeg families.

This is more than a new childcare centre. It is an opportunity to expand access to high quality, affordable early learning while creating a unique environment where children and seniors can share a campus, build relationships and learn from one another.

Groundbreaking begins in mid-October 2028 and the centre is expected to open in early May 2028.
