A Winter Full of Science Fun!
This January, the Rady JCC is the place to be for kids who are looking to explore their world through science, use technology to solve problems, learn the basics of building through engineering projects, and use math to tackle challenges. Add in a bit of artistic flair, and a lot of fun and you’ve got STEM learning, which is foundational to education, and driven by kids’ natural curiosity.
These new classes will have your junior scientists and engineers eager to get to the Rady for the opportunity to learn, explore, and create.

Mini Makers & Master Builders
Through hands-on activities and exciting projects, kids will explore science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in a fun and accessible way.
Engineering for Kids Winnipeg instructors will guide kids through interesting and intriguing projects and skill-building exercises. From designing simple machines to building creative structures, children will learn to think like real engineers while problem-solving, experimenting, and collaborating with their peers.
Each session ends with kids taking home their creations!
Classes are tailored to two age groups to ensure age-appropriate learning and maximum fun:

Science and physics at the click of a brick
Ignite your child’s creativity with our hands-on J-Builders LEGO® ! In this engaging after-school program, each session kicks off with a lively animated adventure featuring Logan and Zoe, who introduce a new STEM concept through imaginative storytelling.
Kids then turn ideas into action by building their own tech creations using motors and specialized LEGO® project kits. Every class blends playful learning with problem-solving, exploration, and confidence-building—making STEM fun, meaningful, and full of discovery.
