This May, celebrate Shavuot at the Rady JCC at two special gatherings - one just for “grown-ups” and one that’s fun for the whole family.

Shavuot is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the giving of the Torah, which is the sacred text of Judaism. Because the Torah is nourishing, like milk, the tradition is to celebrate with dairy including cheese and, most importantly for the kids - ice cream.
For adults, enjoying Shavuot is as simple as enjoying wine and cheese while you try your hand at painting, and possibly making some new friends.

A Sweet Shavuot Family Celebration
Sunday, May 24 | 10:00 - 12:00 p.m.
Join us for a joyful Shavuot Family Celebration filled with music, creativity, and delicious treats! Enjoy lively songs, games, and hands-on stations where you can make Shavuot delicacies, create floral crowns, and take part in fun crafts for all ages. Top it all off at our ultimate ice cream bar for a sweet and memorable holiday experience. This program is presented in partnership with Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
Sip, Snack & Celebrate: Shavuot Paint Night (18+)
Tuesday, May 19 | 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Unwind and get creative this Shavuot at the Rady Jewish Community Centre with a relaxed evening of painting, wine, and cheese.
