Gan Yeladim (Babysitting)
While parents are utilizing the Rady JCC facilities, take advantage of our on-site babysitting service. Caring and qualified staff, supervise children (newborn to eight years) as they participate in free play, story time or crafts. Drop-ins are welcome (space permitting), however, to ensure a spot we recommend making a reservation up to one week in advance. There is a two-hour/day/child maximum.

Peanut products of any kind are not allowed in the Gan Yeladim.

Lunch Bunch 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
This program is ideal for children participating in Rady JCC Preschool classes such as Funday Monday, Shabbat Shalom, Israeli Dance, Mitbach Mania and Music and Movement.

The children relax in a safe environment while being supervised by experienced Rady JCC counselors. A variety of recreational fun activities such as arts and crafts, playtime in small gym and outside fun are offered.

The children are picked up from Junior Kindergarten at the Gray Academy and accompaniment to the Rady JCC preschool class.

Registrations take place at the Rady JCC Reception Desk and may be done as early as one month in advance. We must have registrations at least 24 hours in advance in order to have the proper supervision ratios for the day. There are no refunds or credit notes.

After School Care Program 3:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
(Junior Kindergarten to Grade Three)
This program is ideal for working parents. Children are picked up at the Gray Academy after school and brought to our preschool room. Supervision is provided by experienced Rady JCC counselors who provide a variety of recreational, educational and fun activities to choose from.

Kosher and nut-free snacks are provided for each child in this program.

For those children who are taking part in other Rady JCC programs, our staff will accompany them to their after school classes such as Israeli Dance, swimming or basketball.

Hours of Operation
Monday through Thursday	3:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Friday	3:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Licensed Child Care Centre

The Rady Child Care Centre is a forty-eight space licensed daycare facility.  We serve families with children ages 18 months to 12 years.
We have four new infant spaces and 44 preschool spaces.  We also have a school age program for 15 children.  We offer two nutritional snacks per day and a hot lunch every Friday.  We are nut-free and meat-free facility. 

We have a talented caring staff that is trained in Early Childhood Education and First Aid.
  
Our centre strives on stimulating children with age appropriate toys, games, crafts and cultural activities.  Every day the children do “tefillah” (prayers), and say the brachot (blessings) before eating.  Also every Friday is very special.  We bake fresh Challah and all children participate in a Shabbat program.  We sing Shabbat songs; bless the candles, wine and Challah.  Also, we encourage the children to give “tzedakah” (charity) at this time.  The children also learn through song, crafts and books about all the Jewish holidays.

Monday - Friday	7:15 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
All statutory holidays	CLOSED
Closed 5 days/year for religious holidays & at 4:00 p.m. on the day prior to the religious holidays, Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve.
Exact dates of closure will be available from the Child Care Centre directly.

We are also fortunate enough to participate in the terrific Rady Jewish Community Centre programs. Our children take swim lessons and Creative Movement once a week.  To contact us call 477-7414 and ask for Susan, Director of Child Care.
